Big Girl turns 3

Here are some pics from Angela's birthday party.

We ended up having an ice cream cake because the banana cake that I cooked and was going to turn into a monkeys face didnt turn out like I had hoped :( I am pretty sure from these photo's that Angela enjoyed it :)

Ice cream cake all over her face

Waiting for mummy to cake the cake

This was on her actual birthday. Bec, B & Mia came up for dinner and cake.

Opening her talking kitchen. The look on her face was priceless :)

Well I have done a little bit of scrapping the last week or so but things have been quiet over at Scrapping Outback due to some very bad news. Rachelle the owners husband was involved in a serious car accident last week and is in a coma and on life support. I think all the girls on the forum are in shock. Sending Rach and her family lots of hugs and praying that Lyndon will make a full recovery.
We head off next Tuesday for our Christmas trip to Melbourne and then stopping in Sydney on the way home. We are looking forward to getting away and catching up with all our family and friends.
So if I dont get back on here before we go away, I would like to wish everyone a very safe and happy Christmas and a happy New Year.
Love

Well I cant believe that my little girl turns 3 on Wednesday. Can someone please tell me where the last 3 years have gone?????
Well I shall be back next weekend to post some pics from her "cheeky monkey" party.
Until then

Hi all

Well we have been on our scrapping weekend away and had an awesome time. I managed to get a few challenges done, will upload pics later :) Lochie was an absolute treasure, thank god!!!! That was my biggest issue about taking him was that he would be unsettled and I wouldnt get anything done. We are off again this weekend, going camping which should be alot of fun.

Hi

Here are some LO's that I did last week. The card was for a card challenge. The card had to be "funky"

This one was another challenge for Ladies Place your Bids on Scrapping Outback. I love this photo of the kids :) So loving :)

And this one is for the November Rusty Pickle challenge. We had to use black & orange and 3 different Rusty Pickle papers. Thought this photo of Lochie playing the drums was cool so thats why the title is "Play that funky music white boy"

Well this weekend Lochie and I are off to a scrapping retreat. There is about 20 of us going and it should be an absolute ball. Hopefully Lochie will be a good boy so that I can get some scrapping done. Mick and Angela will be spending some quality time together at home:) They will probably catch up with B & Mia at some stage as Bec is also on the retreat.
For Micks birthday we have been asked to go camping with B, Bec & Mia. We are really looking forward to it, hopefully the weather will be good so the kids can go swimming.
Anyway, check back in after the weekend away.

Nene :)

More LO's and weekend goss

Hi......I hope everyone had a great weekend. Our weekend was good. Saturday was the usual washing and then we went over to visit Irene & Jeff. Stayed for dinner and had a lovely visit. Yesterday we went to Carindale and Mick shouted himself a massage, came home and he cooked a YUMMY roast pork for tea.

Here are some challenges that I did last week. The card I gave to Irene as she had a knee op last week. It was made for bonus SO $$$'s.

This LO was for SO $$$'s and I have made the card to a similar style as the LO.

And this frame was for Leanne's altered frame on SO. I have decided I am going to give this to Grandma & Grandpa for Christmas. Because the whole family (all 48 of us) are going to Mildura for Christmas I thought it would be awesome to set the tripod up and get a photo of all of us that the grandparents can put in the frame as a memory keeper.

More challenges have been set for this month. Not stressing too much if I dont get them done at the moment cause next weekend I am off on a retreat with the girls. Looking forward to it. Lochie will be in his element, a room full of 18 women, 1 little girl and him :)
Take care,
Love
Nene :)

Hi all.....here are some more layouts that I have done this week.

This one of Lochie was for Scrapping Outback for Leannes Oct challenge

This one was for Tams challenge on Scrappin Chicks. We had to use 3 different glitter colours. Needless to say glitter has ended up everywhere.

Scary Spider was another challenge for Ladies Place your Bids on Scrapping Outback. We had to include a spider on a LO. I have made my little redbacks.

And this was a double sketch LO challenge for Ladies place your bids. Had to include a chipboard title and hand cutting.

Thanks for looking......I am sure there will be a few more LO's up in the next week or 2. Expecially with the start of a new month just around the corner and new challenges set for us :)
Have a great day

Had a good day today. We had a couple of visitors and then this afternoon I took the kids to the park so Angela could have a play. Bec & Mia meet us down there too :)

Finished this LO this morning for another bonus for Ladies place your Bids challenge on Scrapping Outback. We had to use a line from a movie for the title, hand stitching, paper rolling and a cluster of embellishments. I had thought of my title so I set Angela up in my shoes so I could get a photo to go with my title. I am really happy with the end result.

I hope that you all have a great weekend :)

Hi all............have had a fairly busy week so far. Monday did some scrapping for another challenge over at Scrapping Outback, they are keeping us super busy this week, Tuesday Angela was at kindy and I had Lochie to the doctors for needles but he didnt get them cause he is not well :( Yeasterday Bec & Deb came around for a cuppa and then went and got Lochie weighed. He is now 8.5kg and 72.5cm long. Thinking he is going to be a BIG boy :)

Thought I would also explain where Enina J comes from.............it's my name backwards (thanks to Tania Burrows for coming up with that :))

Have a good day

Hi...............I thought I would share some of my recent LO's with you. Most of my layouts are done for challenges on Scrapping Outback, a very regulare website that I visit :)

This LO was for the Ladies Place your bids challenge on SO. This was a bonus round to earn extra SO dollars

This was for the October 4 Product challenge. You can only use the 4 products that Rachelle puts in the kit. You are allowed to add inks etc. This has proven to be quite the challenge some months.

This LO was for the November Rusty Pickle challenge on SO. The LO had to be a shape rather than just a 12x12 LO and bright colours were required. Think I covered it all :)

This was an extra challenge that was set while we were waiting for the new comp to start. We had to use a title of a song as out title and I chose "Angie" by The Rolling Stones as this is mums song for Angela and she loves to sing it.

And this one was the September Rusty Pickle challenge. Requirements were to use green and do a LO based on Spring.
Thanks for looking :) I have done heaps more but didnt want to bore you all too much with my first post of layouts.

Nene :) xoxox
